Mhammad Dirany

I'm a Computer and Communications Engineering in Lebanon with a hands-on, builder's approach to technology — I like understanding systems from the ground up rather than just using them at the surface level. My technical background spans web development (React), embedded systems and PLC/ladder logic automation, applied machine learning (PyTorch, YOLOv8), and networking (CCNA-certified). I've worked on projects ranging from a river waste-collection and sorting system for my senior design project to a sign-language translation app and an automated video-clipping pipeline for content creators. Alongside my engineering work, I co-founded and serve as Vice President of an NGO based in the Bekaa Valley, where I've led outreach to funding consortiums, drafted and submitted project proposals, and helped run community programs — experience that's taught me how to translate technical or mission-driven work into a clear value proposition for the people funding or using it. I'm fluent in Arabic and English, based in Lebanon, and drawn to work that sits at the intersection of solving real technical problems and communicating their value clearly to the people who need them.
